This product is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. This is used to treat acidity and heartburn or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD); a condition where the acid in the stomach flows back up into the food pipe (esophagus) and also in treating gastric and duodenal ulcers. Domperidone helps to regulate vomiting by increasing the movement of the gut, allowing easy food movement through the stomach.

This product which is a combination of rabeprazole and domperidone is more effective in treating gastroesophageal reflux disorder than rabeprazole alone. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper alimentary canal to extend the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing easy movement of food through the stomach. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) acts by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach , helping in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Caution is advised in patients with underlying kidney or liver disease.
Avoid long-term use of this drug as it can cause weakness in bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium.
Hypersensitivity towards rabeprazole and domperidone.
Contraindicated in patients having electrolyte disturbances, congestive heart failure, hepatic disorders, renal disorders and gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
