Ceftriaxone inhibits the synthesis of mucopeptide present in the cell wall. they inhibit the carboxypeptidases and endopeptidases enzymes they play role in important cell wall and cell division therefore leads to cell death.
Sulbactum inhibits the beta-lactamase enzyme of the bacteria which is responsible for the development of resistance and prevents the reduction in activity of bacteria.

It is absorbed orally to lesser extent and absorbed mainly intravenously
It shows 95% of protein binding
It is excreted via urine
Sulbactum-
It is absorbed orally
It shows 38% serum proteins binding
It is excreted via urine
